| THE BRUNER FIRM was started in May of 1968 by Van B. Bruner Jr. The form of ownership has been and remains as - Single Practitioner. The firm started out as many architects at that time doing small renovation projects related to the community. The firm was physically started in a 17' x 20' attached garage space next to Mr. Bruner's home in Haddonfield, NJ and is still located there. Although, through the years the firm has housed as many as (6) technical and administrative personnel it now has been downsized to (1) intern architect and the Principal, Van B. Bruner Jr., FAIA. The firm has always been a hands-on firm for all the variety of projects that has passed through that 17' x 20' space. The principal was personally involved in each project no matter what the size. This degree of concern has resulted in many call-backs from clients. The firm offers architectural services from conceptual design to construction administration. The firm has performed in numerous Joint Ventures with much larger firms on multi-million dollar projects. The firm's "signature" for projects however is in the Educational Facilities. The firm has done numerous Educational projects throughout the Delaware Valley. They range from Maintenance projects to New Additions and Facilities. Last year the firm completed a Joint Venture with a large firm to design and develop a new Pre-K-8 School and 5 year Master plan study for that same District. Presently, the firm is still engaged in providing architectural services for a variety of projects in the area. |
